Requires system 7.0 or later to run, and AppleScript to print the pages (via SimpleText). This standalone document was created by Carl Bäckström (Nisseb softwares) as a help to everyone who write webpages in HTML. It contains the usual tags for special characters, text styling and lists, forms and other often used tags. I've got this information from different sites on the net, so it's not my own text all the time, even if I've rewrote most of it and translated into a hopefully understandable English. This file is a freeware, free to use for everyone, but it's not a public domain. If you have any serious or commercial use out of it, a small shareware fee would be very appreciated and encourage me to write and update more programs of this kind. Do not disturbe modified copies! If you find something fault in this text, or have any other comments, suggestions or whatever, please mail me instead! Me, Carl Bäckström, is not responsible for any bug in the text. Remember that not all browsers support the tags.
HTML Vocabulary was written in SimpleText and converted into this standalone document using DialogMaker 2.0, ©James W. Walker, 1996. This (DialogMaker) excellent tool is available at most ftp-sites, and creates standalone textdocument readers, free to distribute as long they're freewares. If the are sharewares, or if the author of them feel generous, Mr. Walker asks for a $20 shareware fee. Since I'm not very rich, and this is a freeware distributed document, I haven't paid him. Yet. If you like this help and want to pay me something for it, I promise that I'll send $20 to Mr. Walker as soon as possible! So far, I've received $10 for this program (from Susan Anderson, US, thanks a lot!!)
Why HTML Vocabulary?
I always write my own pages direct in HTML using SimpleText (almost). I needed a fast and easy online help for special characters, rules about tables, and so on. I also wantes to make a little 'library' to copy to my friends, who also worked in HTML. I first wrote this in DocMaker 4.1, since I wanted a standalone library instead of SimpleText files. I didn't distributed it, since I couldn't pay the shareware. Then I suddenly found ManualMaker, and it was released. There is much more tags available then those which are provided here. This is what I knows about, if you have other experiences, please mail me up! The library isn't complete or perfect! Please let me know if (when) you found some error or if you have more HTML tags! Thank you!
Who am ΓÇ¥IΓÇ¥ ?

I am a Swedish, sixteen years old boy named Carl Bäckström. If you want to know anything else about me, have a look at my website or send a little friendly mail. Computers isn't my most important part of the life, however, and there's a lot of things I like to do before sitting in front of the screen... But when I do, I like to write some simple things for the Mac. There's some other stuff I've wrote, HyperCard and SuperCard stacks, programs and more. For example, Mailto Converter, a freeware program that converts mailto webform results (..) into readable text, without the use of any cgi-script or that stuff. Check out the website or mail me for information and free copies! You can contact me with mail or over the net to the following addresses:

Version history
1.0.0 (17/04/96)
First public release.
1.1.0 (26/04/96)
Changed all(?) painful grammar errors, many thanks to Mr. John Koch! Also fixed some bugs in the text, for example, <TITLE="text"> didn't work quite well... Then I added the "Must end with..." string to most of the tags. Also added a lot of new tags, webmap chapter, forms chapter and more. Finally, I added the 'HTML 3.0 tag" and "Netscape tag" where I thought they were needed. Please note that I've probably missed a lot of these notes somewhere, so maybe you find a HTML 3.0 tag without this note. Thanks to Susan Anderson for critics and support!
1.2.0 (17/05/96)
Updated the text with some corrections and additions.
1.2.1 (18/05(96)
Added information about Client Side imagemaps (in earlier versions called Netscape maps). Thanks to Pascal Grenier for the suggestions! This stuff was missed in v1.2, stupid me!
1.3.0 (28/05(96)
Added a lot of Internet Explorer tags and sorted the chapters in alphabetic order.
